ALEX MANN is a writer, director & producer exploring the intersection of tech + culture, and the founder & CEO of Space Oddity, a next-gen content studio backed by Snap Inc.

Mann’s original short films have accumulated over a billion views, been shared by Eli Roth, Adam Levine, Lil Wayne, Miles Teller, 50 Cent and Ashton Kutcher, and been featured by CNN, The Los Angeles Times, Blumhouse, TechCrunch, Vox, BuzzFeed, New York Magazine, Cosmopolitan and Esquire.

Gizmodo describes Mann’s work as “a mix between 2001: A Space Odyssey and Paranormal Activity.” Fast Company named him “the Wes Craven of social media.” CNN says his films “underscore the fears that apps instill in our lives.”

Outside of filmmaking, Mann is a contributing writer for publications such as McSweeney’s, VICE and The New Yorker. Prior to filmmaking, Mann founded a tech startup that was acquired by Twitter.
