AM Analytics

The majority of the content on my blog has been focused on entrepreneurial strategy and internet trends, based specifically on my reflections in beginning my third venture.  I’ve been documenting my painful struggles, minor brushes with success, intimidating investor meetings and even received initial feedback from my readers on a potential domain name. (I ended up picking one I originally mentioned.)

My goal was to make the process of starting a business as public, open and transparent as possible, which I plan to continue.  I wasn’t stuffed up in a conference room pondering how to take advantage of potential customers; I was talking publicly on the internet on how to satisfy a market opportunity and create a product that people want and need.  I turned what used to be a one-way conversation, into a mirrored two-way conversation.

With that being said, I’d like to officially announce AM Analytics, a real-time social media intelligence platform.  In addition to this blog, I’ll be writing on the AM Analytics blog as well.

Today we published our first case study, which focuses on trend data relating to the Amazon Kindle.  Our online platform is still in its development phase, but we plan to publish case studies until we can automatically streamline the data.  I’d encourage you to follow us on Twitter as well.

Although we are developing a web platform, our ultimate goal is to help people, not replace people, in making informed decisions using social media.  There’s a lot of noise going on, and my thesis is that people are not listening as close as they should be.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment.  I’d be happy to answer anything publicly.
