Wrinkled suits and stretched out ties lay all around my room, with one pair of scuffed black shoes in the middle of the pile. The shoes look out of place, as if they’re placed too neatly. The floor of my room looks like the result of a bombed office party. For some reason, it all means something to me. It reminds me of how scattered my ambition is.
I’m a 21 year old student who recently got his feet wet in the corporate environment, observing the realms and workings of American capitalism first-hand. The hunger for money. The disdain for lifestyle balance. The passion for work and social extremities.
I’m attempting to fearlessly direct my career professionally, but I haven’t figured out where I’m going, let alone where I’d like to be.
This is my blog, where I’ll ramble, rant, prophesize and criticize my experiences at the crossroad between entrepreneurship and business.
